A happy new year from us all at Push Sport Ltd. Lots have been asking about the date for this years Boudicca and sorry for not announcing this earlier but we have decided to take a year off for 2019. 2018 saw a considerable drop in numbers but still with great feedback on what we do so we are going to take some time and rethink the events we promote and how we can develop them to keep progressing what we do.
Riders are spoilt for choice with yet more events on offer for 2019 in the Eastern Region which is a great position to be in but we would rather offer something progressively different than just another Sportive.
Tim will be taking some time to develop his new company Bike Ninja as well as getting some time out on the bike again, its even been mentioned that Tim and Sara will ride Boudicca together for the first time! We hope to be back again but a massive thank you for all the support you have given Push Sport and Boudicca over the years. ... See MoreSee Less
Aww that’s such a shame I always tell everyone that it’s the best ride in the Norfolk sportive circuit.. but can understand as there weren’t as many of us last year .. hope we can look forward to Boudicca being back in 2020. Xx
Oh no, my favourite sportive.
We (53-11) normally bring quite a lot of riders to your excellently run event.
So hope this comes back.
Best wishes guys.
Stewart Betts, Veronica Mitchell, Rebecca White - sad news, best event in East Anglia ... we should ride the route anyway!
That's a shame guys I'm sure many will agree that Boudicca was always one of if not the best cycling event in norfolk. You will be sorely missed from the calender this year
Oh no! We like to start the year with this sportive. Hope you are back next year?
Sorry to hear Boudicca will be having a year off, but you so deserve a break. Have an amazing 2019 and hopefully we will see you again in 2020.
Very sorry to hear the news, wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments above and hope to see you back soon. Best wishes with the business 👍
Hi Tim, Sara and all the Push Sport team. Although I'm slow to comment I just wanted to add to what others have said that I really hope this can be resurrected in the future. For several years now Boudicca has been top of my list of favourite East Anglian Sportives. It's quite unique in it's route, travels through some stunning parts of south and west Norfolk, including the Wayland hinterland, and it I will miss riding it this year. You've always put on a really good show, exceptionally friendly and supportive crew, and those salty snacks have always been delicious! However, completely understand the need to take in some R&R, very well deserved, and of course wish you great success in the meantime with your other cycling (ad)ventures! Cheers, Mark. 🙂
Sorry to hear that, by far the best Norfolk sportive.
Have you looked at running a “gravel” sportive, popular at the moment and loads of great bridleways and routes in Norfolk?
Sorry to hear that..:-(
That's a shame, we weren't able to take part last year due to other commitments and was looking forward to this year. It's such a well run event. Hope to see it back in 2020
Sorry to read your news, had to miss last year, so was hoping to take part in 2019. Best wishes to you all.
Sorry to hear but look forward to 2020! Are you running the hospital one this year?
Hope you're back next year, it's my favourite sportive.
Oh that’s a shame. It is a regular in my diary and I was looking forward to it. Logan Black
Sorry to hear Boudicca will be missing from the calendar this year, but understand that sometimes a step back is necessary. Hope to see this event back again in the future.
Wow nearly 2 weeks already since Boudicca, can you believe it?! No time to rest here with lots of events happening from our little team this summer. One day we will be unlucky with the weather, however it wasn't this day and another cracker of a day with the sun shining. A long day but always worth it seeing so many happy (but tired) faces at the end. Thanks to every one that came today and supported us and we hope you had a enjoyable day as we did, chatting to as many of you as we could.
A big well done to everyone out there today wether it was your first 100, 70 or 40 or the regulars we love to see every year. Big thanks to Barford Van Hire & Sales for all the support making what we do much easier.
Results and photos will follow over the next few days but first its time for a cold one. 🍺 ... See MoreSee Less
A post we always share before our sportives. Please remember NO HELMET NO RIDE, and also NO AEROBARS are permitted for our sportives and you will be asked to remove them. We've always had a great response from the locals regarding the attitudes of our riders with regard to such things as manners and litter....the small things that make all of the difference. Please help us to maintain this great reputation, pretty please!🤩 ... See MoreSee Less
Can I please ask that all cyclists who come across a horse/horses, please, please call out to the rider (horses recognise human voice), slow down and pass wide. Many cyclists believe that it’s safer to pass as quickly and quietly as possible. This is not the case! I am a horse rider and a cyclist (I will be cycling the 100). We all have to share the roads! 😀. Thanks
Will this be 100% enforced ? Unlike the Norwich 100 !!
Thank you for your interest in Boudicca 2018. Our online pre entry has now ended but we will still be taking entry on the day. Please find below some useful information to help you if you plan on join...
Doing any event does mean a lot of logistics behind the scenes and especially with our sportive. We are very lucky to have the support of an amazing local company in Barford Van Hire & Sales. If you ever need any van or pretty much any vehicle for a trip away or occasion then give them a ring and they will be sure to assist. #teambarford ... See MoreSee Less
